For whatever it's worth:

Her knowledge of the issues before the Legislature, her experience and her forthrightness make her vastly superior to her challenger, 21-year-old Frank Calabrese, a University of Illinois student. Calabrese has been unable to offer a good reason for voters to choose him, other than he's not a Democrat.

He won't vote for Madigan as Speaker - that ought to be worth quite a bit these days.
