Adopted from Baker, I well recall how Barak rose in Hyde Park, Chicago, and by his powers and presence on the south side, the Latin Kings, Black Disciples, and many sects joined hands together in songs and praise and foreswore slaughter to love each other without bloodshed; and Barak healed all sick for free; and the poor were with food and clothes as never before or at least didn't dwell so much on their starvation and freezing cold; and the grafters and corrupters of State, City and Ward politics repented.  Do you remember?

Yesterday afternoon, there were a lot of motorcycles at Broadway and University.  They just kept going, even when their light turned red.  It didn't appear to be a parade or funeral procession.  I've also heard of Critical Mass (bike riders) doing this kind of thing.  Is this legal?  It bothers me when cyclists blow off traffic laws, because it makes it harder for bikes to be perceived as vehicles on the road.
