It'll be ugly at my house if that happens. One of us is a die hard Sox fan. The other a die hard Cubs fan. The cross-town series is ugly enough. I can't imagine what would happen if it were a Cubs-Sox World Series.

No, no and no. Football and basketball are my preferences, and I prefer the college variety of both. But that's just me.
as a Cardinal fan, I am torn on the Cub situation.
A. A win would be really cool, Chicago would go nuts, it would be fun to watch the celebration, and I have a lot of long-suffering Cub fan friends - it would be nice for them.
B. They are the Cubs, and they deserve to lose just because, and why would anyone choose to be a fan of such a team.
RSW that really hurts, I am not sure what hurts more that you are a Cardinal fan or you're commnets about Cub fans. I still like you because of your conservative bent but be careful.
