Frustration of Young Conservatives with Society

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am new at this and hope to spread my message for a sociey that does need to whine to get its way.  We live in a time were politcal correctness rules supreme over reason.  Reason ceases to exist.  Everyone concerns themselves with what everyone else is thinking when everyone else is thinking about what everyone else is.  The statement doesn't make sense, neither does the lack of reasoning behind it.

Listen people we need to think freely for ourselves.  Do not let the media dictate your thoughts or what you believe in.  They will put the spin on the facts to benefit their main suitor, the Democratic Party.  Unfortunately no one believes that the two are in bed together, of course no one really paid attention Eliot Spitzer but crawled all over Larry Craig.  Wake up People!

In my personal opinion, Democrats are communists.  They want to socialize everything from the oil industry to health care.  Lets not piss off the ones who supply us with oil and try and sanction them.  By placing sanctions upon the oil companies as the Democrats and Republican wimps would want you to support, they would exponentially raise prices.  Action without reason.

People have called me the next Rush Limbaugh or Boss Tweed.  I am a conservative, a conservative who believes that it is more than alright to disagree with the Republican Party because some are not true conservatives.  There are not many of us left, or right.  I will fight for the people's right to have less government, less business regulation, and an America that is realistic and free.  The reason one of my mentors called me Boss Tweed, arrises from my influence over my peers and their voting choices.  Its good to be educated.

While you're at it, learn about the apostrophe.

Let's bump this to the commented posts :)

I don't have a major issue with your general points, but the way you frame it dooms it to failure. I respect your ideas, but the labelling you use is more of the same. An opening statement that discusses one's own charisma is also rather uncharismatic in my judgment system. But hey--whatever works for you.

It's way past time to put the ax to so-called Political Correctness.  It's time to "call a spade a spade"and it's time to know that there is no race-baiting in calling a spade a spade.  It's time to be tired of whiny-ass socialists who want to tax us to death and time to be tired of fear-mongering authoritarians who want to control our lives.

It's time to get back to the basics of finding joy in hard work, having charity (love) for one another, living honest lives, and letting people make their own decisions about how they ought to live their lives without intervention by the government and being over-taxed and regulated into insensibility.

Regnad... given your prior explanation of such terminology, I'm not sure if you'd objectively see the difference between a spade and a bulldozer.

There is some hope "Mr. Hanck" - for example ---

Ryan Scott Higgins, 26, submitted his name in May to the IL GOP convention's nominating committee for the national committeeman's slot.  His application was bungled by the ham-fisted GOP hacks thus his name was not publicized as a candidate along with attorney Pat Brady or former Senator Steve Rauschenberger's.  He was allowed to address the nominating committee but unfortunately not the entire congregation at large.  His speech delighted and surprised the audience who responded with a spontaneous long, standing ovation.

Vision
I believe in the guiding principles of the Republican Party: limited government, individual autonomy and personal responsibility. Further, I believe that these principles are under siege, and that the fabric of our republic is threatened, by an emerging ethos of dependency on government. The Republican Party must
oppose this dependency by (i) reminding the American people that government grows at the expense of liberty, (ii) engaging the generation of young voters so galvanized by the current election before they are lost permanently to the Democractic Party and (iii) offering a new generation of Republican solutions grounded in the principles of the Party and the Founding. More specifically, these solutions will be market-based solutions that, rather than growing government, create the proper conditions and incentives in the private sector to solve problems.  Such solutions include enhanced school choice and tax credits to purchase private health insurance. These policies and principles appeal to social moderates, fiscal conservatives and civil libertarians, who I believe must form the foundation of any winning Republican coalition in Illinois. As a Republican National Committeeman, I will work tirelessly to promote our Party’s principles and candidates and to help make these and other Republican solutions a reality.

Well, this is becoming a bit of a Soliloquy...but

1) Can y'all imagine the response if this young man Higgins had given this speech to the whole congregation of the convention?  He got Zero votes from the nominating committee.  It was cut and dried before hand.  Shame on them.

Government Grows at the Expense of Liberty...We can turn this $#!7 around. We are midwesterners with an abundance of common sense, character, and moral courage.

Regnad,

I appreciate the response and see we are on the same page when it comes to the socialists among us.  If the red hunts began again we would round up many politicians in Washington.  However one must remember that I am sarcastic when it comes to voicing my opinions.  I am not a right wing nut, I advocate for the politics of Buckley.  I want to take the party back from the rednecks and evangelicals, and bring class sophistication back to the Republican Party.

Mr. Xian,

I appreciate the opinions posted but I do want to make sure that I am sarcastic and crude when I express my beliefs.  I am not a right wing nut but rather conservative.  I do not actually want to start the red hunts again, its just my way of expressing my frustration with the liberals that ruin society.  My goal is to bring the party back to its conservative roots and take it away from those rednecks and evangelicals that have isolated the party.
