Sen. Jacobs with strong words for our governor

Apparently Gov. Blagojevich and Sen. Mike Jacobs (D-East Moline) had an interesting run-in at the Capitol today. Apparently the governor was trying to buy Sen. Jacobs' vote convince Sen. Jacobs to vote for his universial health care proposal. Things went downhill from there.

Then, Sen. Jacobs talked to the media. Download and listen to the whole thing.

Nice...

I felt filthy and had to take a shower after hearing this. Blago would have never given Western the 75 million even if an agreement had been made. This governer has to go now.  Send this guy to Iraq. He'd suck the oil out of the ground himself if he thought he could grab a few million with noone watching.

CRD "I wouldn't ever set out to hurt anyone deliberately unless it was, you know, important, like a league game or something." Dick Butkus

Chuck-I don't know sending him to Iraq would be kind of a mean thing to do to the terrorists, they may learn something from him.

I for one would have loved to see a smack down in the state house,,,,,,,,we could have made the national news,,,,I like how they get in to it over in the far east,,,,,if the disagree,,,they go nose to nose,,,,,,,,I would bet that Blagos hair would not have moved an inch in any case,,,,,but only his hairdresser would know for sure.

Wonder-You don't think someone could have at least dented his hair?

Milo is becoming extremely desperate and will do anything to save his own ass.
But this past week's new revelations of corruption and his childlike behavior with State Senator Jacobs is just a hint of what is to come.
Milo will go down in Illinois history as Illinois biggest mistake and embarrassment.

Milo?

The HSQDs are back, showing their extreme ignorance of any and all issues.

That extreme ignorance should keep them from commenting and voting. They just don't have the knowledge or the sense.

Milo?

Rod's given name is Milorad.

"Rod's given name is Milorad."

Hunh.  I did not know that.  I guess I know why he doesn't use it, although I suppose it's better than Vlad Tepes...

Oh great Wenalway...please enlighten us as to how being unhappy with our state's top constitutional officer acting like a drunken frat boy makes us "Hapless blah blah blahs."

If you don't have anything to add to the conversation....just go away.

"our state's top constitutional officer acting like a drunken frat boy"

To make such a comparison is an insult to drunken frat boys everywhere.

Animal Farm (a blog of the Daily Herald) has a transcript of the interview.

no fraternity would ever give blago a bid, he was the creepy guy at the parties

Wenlaway (NOT VERIFIED)  You are starting to sound like a broken record!! How about something new or better yet how about shuttin up!!!

no fraternity would ever give blago a bid, he was the creepy guy at the parties

In my experience, there is no single "creepy guy" at frat parties....

If wenalway isn't adding anything to the discussion, why does anyone bother responding to him?

Ignore him, and he'll either start being constructive or he'll go seek attention elsewhere.

Maybe if you guys got both sides of the issue, I'd give you the benefit of the doubt.

Until then, I'll say the same thing: The HSQDs are back, showing their ignorance of the issues.

Ok, wenalway tell us about both sides?

Run4cvrlib,

If you stop picking at the boil, maybe it'll go away?

Actually I was asking a valid question. If he wants to discuss issues I will discuss issues, I wasn't trying to pick a fight.
