I just listened to some of her looney rants from the View, as cut by OReilly. From what I gather, she believes that the Brits were in Iranian waters, on purpose, doing American dirty work, and trying to give the US an excuse to invade Iran. And that the poor Iranians get no respect in the American press - they are being dehumanized so they will be easier to kill. "Gulf of Tonkin - google it".
So, anyone agree with her?

She's just trying to make a living, like Rush, Judge Judy etc. It's entertainment, reality TV but don't look for any verifiable data or a chance to rebut.
She's an entertainer.
Listening to her about world affairs is like listening to Carrottop.
But how many folks do listen to her, getting their "news" from the View before watching Oprah and Judge Judy?
And I know we have some "progressives" and some anti-war folks and some folks not fond of Bush who read this board - just wanted to know if her view is at all prevalent.
"some folks not fond of Bush who read this board"
RSWB, I'll own up to one of the three labels, just so I can assure you that had I even heard about Rosie's ranting, I would have dismissed them out of hand.
She would be shocked if she knew the truth: The UK has been suffering from a severe cod shortage in the North Atlantic, and they were doing recon in the Gulf to see if they could make off with a major percentage of that area's sea bass supply as a substitute.
And now for som.. may have a point. It is Seattle friends tell me that the UK has a long history of buying Pueget Sound dogfish for their 'fish & chips'.
good to hear, Python fan - I was hoping the entire world had not gotten that cynical
Dogfish...yuck.
I was born in Seattle and have done a lot of salmon fishing there, and for the longest time the Fish&Game folks instructed us to cut the heads off the "sand sharks" and throw them back for the crabs to eat.
Getting off topic, I know.... I'll attempt to circle back next time.
