Champaign County Farm Bureau County Board Endorsements

Tom Kacich has them, and they're hardly lockstep with the the Champaign County Republican Party.

Of course, that makes the Farm Bureau's endorsement of Senator Judy Myers all the more impressive, despite Democrat spin to the contrary.

Yep. They certainly didn't endorse everyone that I wanted them too, nor did they endorse everyone the Democrats wanted them too. Which means - SHOCKING! - they made their own decisions about who to endorse.

After the Farm Bureau getting involved in the Democratic primary by publishing an op-ed piece encouraging Republicans to cross over to vote for Wysocki/Beckett, they would leave them high and dry in the general election? I like Wysocki and Beckett; think they've generally been good for the county, but your touting them as proof that the Judy Myers endorsement by the Farm Bureau is a big deal is really funny. In what sense? They are conservative on a single issue (Second Amendement rights) but I don't think they take conservative (or any) positions on tax policy, abortion, pork, or any other issues.
