Champaign County Farm Bureau County Board Endorsements

Tom Kacich has them, and they're hardly lockstep with the the Champaign County Republican Party.

Of course, that makes the Farm Bureau's endorsement of Senator Judy Myers all the more impressive, despite Democrat spin to the contrary.

What is this? Pre-spin spin?

Makes my head spin.

So, every endorsement they made went to a Republican, except for Beckett and Wysocki ... and you think that proves the Farm Bureau is non-partisan??

I like you, Gordy. You're funny.

Yep. They certainly didn't endorse everyone that I wanted them too, nor did they endorse everyone the Democrats wanted them too. Which means - SHOCKING! - they made their own decisions about who to endorse.

Keep spinning, True Blue, keep spinning.

Come on, Gordy, who do you think you're fooling? After the Farm Bureau getting involved in the Democratic primary by publishing an op-ed piece encouraging Republicans to cross over to vote for Wysocki/Beckett, they would leave them high and dry in the general election? I like Wysocki and Beckett; think they've generally been good for the county, but your touting them as proof that the Judy Myers endorsement by the Farm Bureau is a big deal is really funny. You sound like you're believing your own press releases. (By the way, why haven't you released the Judy Myer's poll results about her race? Sitting on good news about her race isn't consistent with anything else you've done on this blog. Tell, us really, how far behind is she?)

;-)

On November 7, we'll all know the answers.

Gordy,
Is the NRA a conservative organization?

"Is the NRA a conservative organization?"

In what sense? They are conservative on a single issue (Second Amendement rights) but I don't think they take conservative (or any) positions on tax policy, abortion, pork, or any other issues.
