We raised enough money (about $500) for yard signs and flyers, so if you have some time and would like to help¦
Come be a part of invalidating CUMTD's undemocratic forced annexations by distributing vote yes flyers March 4-5 and 11-12 (we will also be distributing flyers soliciting funds to help defend against CUMTD's legal challenges). We're just "dropping" (i.e., no knocking), so it should be quick/painless.
Send me an e-mail at s.tapley@sbcglobal.net and I will coordinate starting times and locations.
If you're sympathetic to our cause but don't have time or ability to help¦your check payable to CSWMTD Supporters would be welcomed. I estimate we will need another $15,000 to $20,000 to defend against CUMTD's next round of legal challenges.
(Checks may be mailed to me at 4405 Crossgate Drive, Champaign 61822 or Brett Kepley at Rawles, O'Byrne, Stanko and Kepley, 501 W. Church St., Champaign 61820.)

Don't you need to add the part about a copy of our report is/will be available, etc.?
"Don't you need to add the part about a copy of our report is/will be available, etc.?"
A post on a blog is no different than a letter to the editor (i.e., the disclosure tag isn't necessary).
Scott,
I don't know how to reach you directly, so I'll just stand on this streetcorner and shout and hope you're within earshot...
I have a vinyl sign cutter and plenty of material (blue and red, mostly). If you'd like a whole bunch of free vinyl signs for your campaign, just say the word. You'd have to provide the material on which to apply them (typically coroplast), and the labor (15 min for a typical real-estate type yard sign), but that's the low-tech, easy part. You' d just need to provide a photoshop or pdf document...

Oops, your email address is right there in the post! I need to stop skimming...
So why do you need your own MTD. It's a black thing, right?
It's a tax thing, not a racial thing.
"So why do you need your own MTD. It's a black thing, right?"
Boggle.
Oh, a tax thing. Separate but equal, huh?
Bill, I don't understand your attempted racial tie-ins...can you explain?
"Oh, a tax thing. Separate but equal, huh?"
Double boggle.
